Maternal health disparities persist as a pressing concern. Each year in the United States, hundreds of women die during pregnancy or in the year after. Thousands more have unexpected labor and delivery outcomes with serious short- or long-term health consequences. Recognizing urgent maternal warning signs, providing timely treatment, and delivering respectful, quality care can prevent many pregnancy-related deaths.
Our goals are:
- To improve birth outcomes by providing continuous support and education during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods.
- To enhance the knowledge and skills of expectant parents through evidence-based childbirth education and CPR certification.
- To promote the physical and emotional well-being of new parents during the transition to parenthood by offering essential resources and parenting classes.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique that can be especially crucial when it comes to infants. Learning CPR equips individuals with the skills needed to provide immediate assistance in cases of infant cardiac arrest or respiratory distress. Promptly starting CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival and minimize potential brain damage.
Being trained in infant CPR empowers individuals with the confidence to take action during emergencies. This knowledge allows caregivers, parents, and even bystanders to effectively respond when an infant’s life is at stake. Join us for one of our monthly CPR training workshops by registering below.
We offer safe sleep training through Safe Sleep Academy. By training new parents on the importance of safe sleep along with our FREE CPR class we hope to decrease the infant mortality rate as it relates to Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID).
The cribs that we provide are Pack ’n Plays, which are portable cribs that have been approved by our National Cribs for Kids Program as safe sleep environments for infants. Register below for our Free training and receive your free Pack N' Play!
